On the hunt for oil..

Greetings from the road! Hey guys, the monster road trip is going well. Life with a 50 year old trailer and 15 yr old truck is always exciting, but things are going well. Met some really interesting folks on the SVO circuit, and seeing lots of beautiful country.

For the most part, oil gathering is going great, but we're hitting a dry spell here in AZ and starting to run low on oil. Anyone on here live in the greater Phoenix, Tucson, or even Silver City, NM areas that would be willing to share some oil?

there is a guy in Phoenix that sells it for cheap. Not what you want but I think its like 50 cents a gallon.

THanks for the tip! As luck would have it, thanksgiving was good to us. We got 160 gallons of beautiful oil from some nice folks at a Japanese restaurant. Hopefully this will last us till the front range.

Things seem to coming together on the oil front. Found nice folks in phoenix, have some oil lined up in Colorado Springs, then again in SD. Interesting to see how things are different even from two years ago when I did my last extended veggie road trip. Renderers are more territorial, lots more folks locking up dumpsters, but also more people in the veg world willing to help out. I suppose that's the give and take of it all. In the end, there's still plenty of oil to go around!
