Home heating oil

I have a chance to get a 100+ gals of heating oil. The only thing is that it has been in the tank for about 10 years. My question is does it go bad or can it be renewed to burn in the truck. Any ideas would be great with the price of fuel climbing again thanks

HHO like Number 2 diesel will go bad and grow algea. I think filtering it should take care of any that might be present but i would be hesitant to put it in my truck honestly. I would be more apt to use it in my diesel shop heater or tractor...something with a more forgiving and less expensive injection system.
