Is B5 worth going out of your way for...?
There are a couple stations not too far from where I live one requires paying a toll the other is a much further (40 miles one way) drive. Is it worth while to drive out of the way for B5? From what I can find neither sell B20. I have not called them yet for pricing so I'm not sure how that will work into the mix.
I have a bone stock truck is it worth the effort and time involved in tracking down the B5? ![]() Thanks! |

no. you would be using more fuel to get there than if you just got D2 locally. you would probably be increasing your carbon footprint.
if you really want bio badly, best to make it or find a local person who does. |

OK so than that puts the distant place off the table which makes sense. What about the closer place, ~6-8 mile round trip out of my way, is that going to benefit my engine enough to justify the time and costs? There is a toll.
It's in NJ and I live in DE traditionally they have cheaper fuel prices so that might help here. |

Around here B5 and B20 are considerably higher priced, so I can't see it being a benifit.

Ahh ok interesting. I will have to call the station in NJ and see what they are charging.

I used to be a die-hard bio user. Now my approach is to use bio when it's convenient and competitive.
Competitive means figuring my time and miles into the equasion. |
