My dad has been makin it for about 6 months now and been runnin it in his Cummins for a bout two months with no problems. I filled my truck up with it earlier today and gonna run it and try it out. I'll let ya'll know how it goes, I already drove it about 200 yards from our shop to my house and can already smell the veggie oil comin out the exhaust

aaaahhhh, you are running burger juice!!!
here's a point of advice for you, keep a VERY CLOSE EYE ON YOUR FUEL FILTER!!! Biodiesel acts as a better cleaning agent than regular petrol. i run 20% bio in my tank on every fill up. my filter goes from white to black in 5k miles!!!!

definately check that fuel filter! You should check it after probably this tank because that stuff cleans like no other - especially if you've been running dino diesel and have a few miles on the truck...

well my truck's an 06 and has 16,000 miles on it, my dad is very very particular about his fuel and his truck, he's been a mechaninc- technician for 30 years, has 9 Master Technician Awards, and 19 ASE certifacates, ranging from automotive to big rig and Caterpillar, I'll probably burn this tank in the next week or so and I'll let ya'll know how it does.

You can run Bio in an 06? I was told that you can't because the injectors are too small and you need a heater or something like that.

I'd love to start making my own fuel.

I guess we'll see. My dad runs it threw a water heater before he ever starts washing it down, he lets it sit in ther water heater a while and gets it up to 120 degrees. Then he washes it down several times with water then methanol and lye.

Did your dad build his own processor, or did he buy one off the shelf. I'm doing research so i can start making my own fuel and have been having a heck of a time finding reliable easy to understand plans for a processor.

Here you go: B100 Supply LLC : CafePress.com

Its a complete guide from start to finish. How to build an apple seed processor and directions on how to use it. A very good book. I plan to start building one as soon as I get a truck to use bio in. I've had enough paying rediculus gas prices.
