Custom Tank Build Question

Ok has anyone made there own Tank? I have stacks and i want it to fit right up front around the stacks and flush under the bed cover. i can then use the heat from the stacks to heat up the oil quicker. so has anyone done this. as far as i know build a tank to fit add baffles and a coolant line that runs near the bottom across the bottom around the tank and return to the same side. the fuel supply and return dont know how they work and just add a fuel sending unit i imagine. like the 51 gallon tank but just want bigger

I followed a thread some where (here or frybrid) where a guy from the uk? did what your about to do. But I think he had dual stacks so he got a fair bit of heat out of the crossover pipe. turned out slick and he used what looked like a toolbox tank. He just modded the day lights out of it.

Now, you do know that there is no major benefit to heating the WHOLE tank right? A well designed heated pickup device is generally all thats needed, like a hot fox, or is it arctic fox?

some one punch me if I'm wrong
