Vegistroke
Saw the other day on DFA site that one of the owners will be going back overseas at the end of summer to serve our country. Just wondering if anyone close to them has any insight into whether they will still be taking new orders for V3 systems in the coming months.
I appreciate the sacrifice he is making for all of us, and I don't mean to be prying or pushy....I'm just curious as to how the company is planning to run in the next few months and if it will affect anything if I try to order soon. |

he is leaving for 400+ days. in a recent thread thought, James i think will still be building kits. hard to say on this one. when the time comes, call and talk with James. worst case scenario you could probably build your own.

They will continue to take orders, service maybe a little slower but not much unless orders start to really come in fast and then i suspect they will hire help.

So just to answer a few questions- I am working on a developing a plan that will provide at least some level of service though most likely online. Depending on a few unknowns, we may be able to provide some fairly decent phone support too, but maybe at a pay-for-call serice. What will happen is the ability to order any individual replacement item for the system online. This is something that should have happened a while ago, but I am working on it now.
Should be able to order replacement check valves, hoses, wiring, fittings, brackets, pumps, engin fitting kit, etc. Pretty much any individual part of the system. This will also benefit those who want to build their own, but need a few parts that are not otherwise readily available such as the stainless steel check valves with viton seats for the 7.3, or the one of a kind 6.0 banjo bolt check valves. And with any luck, I will have perhaps the most significant piece available since the V3- Our own in house designed purpose built Vegetable Oil specific pump that far exceeds the specifications for anything on the market currently for reliability, current draw, and temperature handling ability. I have been working that pump for better then 7 months now! And last but not least, we hop to be able to continue to sell our tired and true Vegsitroke system for the 99-07 PSD. The Dodge systems and 94-97 ford systems are not well enough understood by any one other then myself that I am concerned about the lack of support for new installs, and potential problems. Stay tuned for forther updates. |
