Where to find free drums?

Anybody have sources for free barrels? People are asking 25$ on craigslist for poly drums... I feel this is a bit steep.

Thanks

Keep looking . Occaisonally they come up for free or cheap on CL . You might try posting an ad on CL offering to pick up unwanted drums for free . There are plenty of people out there with drums they just want to get rid of .

Thumbs up

I paid $20.00 each barrel for five plastic barrels and I thought it was a smokin' deal. Any plastic 50 or 55 gallon drum under $50 bucks is a good deal IMO

You may find some for free on craiglslist but there will most likley a catch. I'd almost guarantee they will need cleaning. And if they are free look forward to some nasty chemicals. I think $25 dollars for clean barrels is pretty good if it has a sealed or removable lid. Most of the $25 barrels ive seen dont have tops.... Well I take that back i just looked at craigslist and seen some with locking lids cleaned for $10 each of 3-$25.
