2 Cycle Oil Fuel Additive

I read where people are putting in 2 cycle oil in the fuel tank. The motor runs smoother and it will increase MPG. Anyone out there know anything about this? It is cheaper than Diesel Kleen.

I have been purchasing Diesel Kleen because I thought it would help lubricate the fuel pump because the low sulfur fuel is hard on the pump?

One of my dad's friend's sells oil to an International dealer, and the mechanics told him to use 2 cycle oil. I've never noticed anything from adding any additive, but when I get ulsd, I pretty much use anything. Lucas, power service, or 2 cycle oil, whatever I have at the time
