FILTERING USED VEGETABLE OIL

Hi Guys,

I’ve read a lot on the forum about diesels running on used vegetable oil, it might sound scary but if it’s done right it can half your diesel costs which is a massive saving over the year. I found this helpful

howtofiltervegoil.co.uk

It tells you how to do it but more importantly what NOT to do and where to get all the bits from as well. I’ve been running mine on used oil for 18 months now and its ace.
I recon the engines smoother but that’s properly just me?

yes you can

Yes you can, I do and have done for a while now ...dosn't half save money!
I would say the key is the how the oil is prepared (used oil) but new oil can go straight in. For best results I have an oil heater fited that runs off the radiator, but you can mix your oil and diesel in a percentage dependent on the temperature of the weather without a heater.

get a copy of the DVD and it'll tell you a lot.
