our big wrecker

Well i thought all of ya'll might be interested in seeing our big wrecker. Its a Diamond Reo "Giant" truck with a Big Cam Cummins. The working end is a Holmes/Grant conversion rated at 85 tons. It weighs close to 60,000 lbs.

Nice!!! My company refuses to buy a wrecker - they would rather spend 15 to 20k a Month to the ONLY local wrecker outfit. Thou I do like the guy who runs the towing company, but from a business standpoint.. just doesnt make ANY Sense to me.

Those are Rare!!! Great find!!! Someone put some time in to switch all the spoke wheels over to aluminums that is a b itch. Very nice old truck! I would just use it for parades lol...
