Dayum! That is nuts.
I have a lot of respect for the Big Rigs, at least alot more now than when I was in high school, and had an encounter w/ one at night on a long stretch of road.

Well its a pretty long story, but I'll try to give the short version.
I was commuting to school each day my senior year, and much of the commute was along a 25 mile stretch of open road w/ a lot of straight-a-ways. Anyways on this night it was pouring rain, and it was around midnight, I was behind a semi, just the rig, no trailer. The SOB had his highbeams on, and was blining oncomig traffic, which in turn blinded me, but not him. So I turned on mine to blind everyone coming by, however my HBs reflected off the road and into the cab of the rig, and so the Bastard decided to blind the crap out of me by turning on his docking lamps (bright floods on the back of the cab). I had enough at that point and decided to go around him. Unfortunately he didn't want to let me go, so we were going head to head 90mph for about 2 miles on this straight section, then he finally let up (I have no idea how he could get his truck going that fast) After I got over in front of him and slowed down to the 65 mph limit, I saw him coming up hard behind me, I knew he was going to try to ram me , so I mashed the pedal, and just accelerated to 80 for about 4 more miles till I cam upon 2 cars and went around them, the rig got around one of the cars but was then blocked by traffic and I was able to get away from him.

I'll tell you it scarred the $h!t out of me .

Now I know to have more candle power on the front to make the driver think twice about putting on his docking floods .
