CB question

I got my CB setup all installed. Went with a Cobra 29 LX. Got it installed everything is fine. Got it dialed in. When I hit the push to talk the screen comes up with "cb antenna warning" also when ya run the radio tests if says antenna mismatch. Where do I need to look to get the problem fixed?

To install still-AutoMeter 60psi boost gauge, AeroForce Interceptor scan gauge, Flo-Pro EGR delete with stainless elbow with custom welded 1/8 NPT bung, racor ccv4500

Go to a cb shop and get the antenna matched. That should solve your problem. Should be able to find one at a truck stop somewhere

I have the same problem. My reasearch showed that the cobra's have a finicky adjustment in the back. You can either take it apart and turn the knob down a little or ignore it.
As long as you know the SWR is good than the light is no big deal ( or so i've read)

Still pretty slow, just less slow now.

What antenna, how many feet of coax, what does the antenna mount look like and how is it grounded?

i have the same radio get the same warning.. but just cant seem to do anything with the radio at all.

Antenna mounted to the bed rail, grounded that way. 18' coax. 3' 5/8 wave firestik. Since im not the only one with the issue ill just see how it goes.
