Trucker Lingo

"sorry but your coming garbled and stupid" When someone says something dumb on the radio.

At the truck stops, they are called Lot Lizards.

Rest-A-Rea.....Rest area.

So I pass this JB truck one day down in Texas, the driver is standing up (I see him in his West Coast mirrors as I come up on him) kinda leaning over the steering wheel of his cab-over.

I get on the radio and say "JB, are you okay"? He replies, "I'm fine driver, I just feel a little embarassed". "What's wrong"? I ask.

"Well, I've had this stomach flu and I crapped my pants". "Don't worry JB, I won't say anything, as a matter of fact I see a rest-a-rea coming up, stop and get yourself all cleaned up". "Okay, will do" he says.

As I look in my mirrors, I see him truck right on by. "Hey!! JB, I though you were going to stop and get yourself cleaned up"? "I was", he said "but I'm not done yet"!!

Barney Buggy= Mini Van (Usually full of kids watching Barney videos.)

Helmet wearing, window lickers= REALLY stupid person.

Salt Shaker = state/town plow truck

Alaska Bound, that's just nasty.

hookers in a truck stop = commercial company .

I gave up driving after 13 yrs. still have my radios just sold my truck in July tho............. : (
