In my younger years i went by 409kid because i was heavy into 409 chevys but I later caught the name Roadatiller as my last rig was a high optioned '86 Freightliner 12064 Kit that I ordered new. When finished It was 260" wb with a 3412 DITTA ( yes a V12 cat from a stationary unit)w/retarder and a pair of 3406 jakes on the heads backed up by a Lipe triple disc clutch, 18 spd, and Eaton DTP 460s with air shift lockers on factory air ride. Engine cut back to 650hp on the ground. Its was a logger and heavy hauler. We were on a logging job and had to back up a 10 percent grade to get to the landing to load. After several attempts to get up to the landing in reverse and not making it because of a soft spot near the top, i jammed the trans in the high hole and went for it ripping up the road and throwing one hell of a rooster tail in the process. Some one said it looked like a rototiller and the name stuck hence "Roadatiller".

With the pump turned up and a fire hose pointed at the radiator and the accesory drives disconnected the truck dyno'd at 1347hp at a power pull at our local cat shop many years ago. It was my toy truck at the time when times were good. Truck was later destroyed by an electrical fire. I sure miss that ol truck. Best truck I ever had/drove.
