My new Peterbilt

We just bought another tractor at our shop. For those of you who know trucking companies this was an X-TMC truck out of des moines. Its a 2007 pete 379 short hood. Cat C-15 475hp 1850tq, 13spd roadranger, 3.36 rears, premium interior, 14 gauges plus cat ID, with 362k on it. This is a dealer photo, but i will get more when we get the truck home, they are doing some stuff to it before we pick it up.

Those TMC trucks are nice, I grew up in Iowa and saw them all the time. Too bad it wasn't a long hood........

Congrats on the new ride.

Yeah Ryan, it does look like a 378 with the short hood, but its the 379. My boss actually wanted to get a 386 or similar set back axle. We go into a lot of tight spaces, but i told him i wanted the 379. They ride better and they still turn very well. Hopefully i don't eat my decision to get a hood.
