cat 1674

I'm looking at a 74 kenworth with a 1674 cat in it .260 hp 13 speed.as far as I can remember this is the overhead cam 6.any one have any opinions good bad or otherwise??

All I really know about the engine is that it was more popular in heavy equipment then it was in rigs. If it happens to be the intercooled turbocharged version then it it wouldn't be a bad find. Does the truck start and an run?

putting batterys in this week and weather permiting going to giver her the once over setting breaks and oil levels it hasn't been on the road for the last year but was in use till then.was there any majior changes with the interclooler other then the extra rad for the inter cooler?
