Movin' on up!!!
SO, I got a promotion at work.
 although I just got the route I wanted doing what I'm doing now  For the last 10 months I have been driving a straight truck with my Class B. I have been itchin' to get on driving our semi's since I started. A tractor trailer position opened up in spring and unfortunately I only had 5 months in my current position, a company stipulation is you have to have 6 months in your position before you can get any kind of promotion. So I've been waiting and biding my time. Three weeks ago a posting came up for a tractor trailer position. I put in for it. I found out today that I got the spot!!! I don't know any specifics yet, they told me they want me to get my Class A license by Oct. 1 and want me to be out driving on my own by mid-October. I'm pumped! They're gonna pay for driving school and they're gonna pay me while I'm in school. I can't wait to get started. I've been chomping at the bit to do this, and I am finally getting where I want to be. Very exciting news I found out today, I just wanted to share.

Doors open with your Class A and make sure you get HAZMAT endorsed and keep that record clean. You'll be a wanted man all over the place.
