OH Speed limit change!

They just passed the new law, 65 for big trucks!!!!! Will make life so much easier! Finally its not SLOW-HIO anymore

I thought for sure it would have been a lower one when i clicked on this thread. So were rigs limited to 55 before like illinois is? Either way, that is great news!

Rigs were 55 before. I hated driving my trucks. You were allowed to drive 65 when bobtail but DOT didnt like it that much. Now, no worries.

It makes absolutely no sense to limit speed on rigs. I drive myself and i will tell you that the swift, schneider, and many other trucks that are goverened at 62 are a real safety concern. You come up on them so quick and driving them can't be fun, you can never pass anyone. All the canadian trucks come thru minnesota and they are all 62mph trucks, oh they get in the way. Glad to see that another state has finally wisened up.

I herd they also passed a new law when you wipers are on you headlights have to be to

The new truck speed limit is true 6speed. The new signs are already up around here but still covered.

I dont have a link, sorry. About being governed....We bought a new Pete 389 and she was governed at 62mph. Such a waste of a 500 CAT
