How does my truck compare?

Bench racing opinions,

I just bought my first diesel. It is the only diesel I have ever driven. It is completely stock. How does it compare speed wise to other similar trucks. 0 to 60, 1/4 mi.? 50 roll? Should it be able to take a Dodge? Chevy Diesel? Other year model Fords?

I have only had the truck for about 2 weeks and have not been next to another diesel on the road yet that wanted to run, other than a 7.3 that walked away from me. Just curios what I can expect. Don’t want to get my tail handed to me to bad. Thanks

the 7.3 was modded...you'll do decent stock against any other stock truck, a stock duramax is kinda quick..put an exhaust, guages and sct tuner in it and you'll be running low 14's to high 13's...its crazy the difference in a custom tuned truck

If you see the chevy's rolling black smoke, better off just staying away. stock for stock a 6.0 will walk a 7.3 any day of the week.

A dodge will either be manual (slow for drag racing) or need a built transmission.
