My dually vs. an 03 Cummins

A friend of mine swears up and down that his bone stock 03 dodge 4x4 CC SWB SRW with an automatic will out pull my dually (mods in my sig) and he wants to hook bumpers this weekend and pull.

What do yall think?

well...not that I know all too much about this stuff, but if it was on pavement wouldnt thave give him the traction advantage if he has stock tires...and vice versa for if it was on dirt? I would think that would have a reasonable effect on the outcome

and power does help but if you can't get it to the ground well... then your screwed.... so just cause you may have more power doesn't mean you won't win

Tough one here. I'm betting someone's going to snap a u-joint or something before either goes anywhere. I'm betting it would be you first if you don't have anything to help keep that rear end in place being lifted.

Yeah I can see him not able to pull you, but you breaking something expensive. You probably have lower gearing too correct? I wouldn't do it, cause that's too close, either you or him will break something and if his tranny doesn't shred before your rear-end does ...... eh I dunno. You got deep pockets?
