5.4 triton vs 6.0???

So as it goes beating a couple Chevys and actually losing to a tuned gasser chevy another ford guy will want to take a try at it. A buddy of mine has an 02 or 03 f150 ext cab short box. Bone stock. No exhaust. Nothing. What I'm wondering is would he even have a chance? I'm thinking about putting money down on this one.

My 5.4 work truck was peppy before I loaded it down with equipment. If your stock, and he's empty and stock Id say he's gonna give you a run for your money.

I seriously doubt that. I've run my truck stock against a reg cab 150 and 250 5.4 and beat them without a problem.

i got to agree, my last truck was a 99f150 (2v 5.4) and my 7.3 would walk all over it at stock for stock,

ford put 3.55 gears in that gen primarily and my 7.3 has 3.73 with about the same hp, but the 5.4 has 350 ft-lbs vs 7.3 at 500 ft-lbs of torque and 6.0 has more

the only thing the f150 has on you is weight, its about a ton lighter

If your stock he's going to waste you unless he's running on 4 cylinders
