5.7 hemi 2500 vs 7.3 250

So heres the thing my dad has a 2008 dodge ram 2500 crew cab short bed with the 5.7 hemi no mods. I have a 2001 F250 ext cab short bed 7.3 no mods. He keeps smack talking my truck whats the chance i could smoke him or at least beat him

also his girlfriends son has a Dodge ram 1500 reg cab short bed with a 5.7 and wants to hook up to everybody... should i make him cry or let him believe his truck is the sh!t?

Pretty sure he will beat you in a race if you are bone stock. You may have a chance with a tuner. If you had a 6.0 you would smoke him with a tuner.

Pretty sure you could drag the 1500 with no problem as long as you're both 2wd. Or if you're both 4wd.

I've seen a 4wd Tacoma drag a 2wd Superduty dually. I'm not in to pulling due to possible damages.

im pretty sure the 1500 would win sense he is way lighter im not into the whole pulling thing eather but it will shut him up and im pretty sure he wont be pulling my butt anywhere

Yeah no offense, but a Hemi Ram would smoke a stock 7.3. Get exhaust and a tuner then maybe you can keep up with him.

that 2008 2500 is about a 16/17 second truck if it's stock.
