2000 7.3 vs 94 5.9

A kid at school keeps talking up his "500 horse" 5.9. I have looked under the hood, all stock appearing. He says the only thing he has done is turn up the pump. His is auto so is mine. Can he make 500 horse with just turning up the pump. Mods are in my sig.

Tennessee. I was able to catch him at a stoplight the other day, I beat him so bad I almost felt sorry. Then I remembered it was a dodge.

from my experience fast dodges are few and far between. ive seen 3 that are fast. granted they kept up with my 300z some what. most of them dont even breath on my truck lol

My old cummins ran pretty good for just being tuned. It was A LOT faster than my current truck and that was just with $300 worth of pump tuning. This is based on racing my buddies truck a couple years ago with the cummins and now with my current truck. Just saying...

the cool thing about the dodges is that so much power can be added with pump tuni9ng almost for free... but it doesnt get you to 500 horsepower... duh....
