'08 tuned 6.4 vs '10 Hemi NOS

Okay so I have that friend who always has to have the bragging rights that he is the quickest. He has a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 HEMI and he is ordering a NOS kit so he can race me. I have a 2008 6.4L that is H+S tuned with SD300/HOT and no DPF/DOC. I'm awaiting the arrival of my S+B filter although I'm not too sure how much difference that will make. I plan on racing him once he gets his NOS setup but my question is....should I be worried?

If there is a chance I will lose then I'm just gonna skip racing him and feel good knowing I made him spend the money just to try and beat me...lol. It will piss him off more never knowing for sure that he could possibly beat me.

I would obviously do a boosted 4WD launch, and I was thinking of removing my subwoofer and my spare tire to free up some weight. And racing him on 1/4 tank of fuel.

that weight is not going to make that much of a difference i think you can take him depending on how much he is spraying

I didn't think it would but I'm a rookie at these big trucks. Thanks for the advice. I'll post up once I get the inside scoop on how much he's spraying. I've gotta go to my inside sources for more info. I know he's gonna try to keep it a secret. If he's smart...

My sources tell me it's a 75hp shot. He also has a programmer, exhaust, and intake. I forgot to mention that as well.

I dont think he stands a chance. With your boosted launch he will have lost the race before he gets a chance to hit the spray.

weight isnt a huge factor in diesels... i feel like my truck runs much better with a full tank of fuel for that matter.
