06 6.0 vs 04 Mustang GT

Im sure this ones been talked about a million times but wanted to lay out all the details. So my younger brother has the mustang. My dad thinks diesels are slow. Money race to get him to bite lol

Mustang
5 speed
AFE Intake
Magnaflows
SCT Tuner

6.0
S&B
4" MBRP Straight Pipe
SCT X3 w/ Vivians Looney Wild Drag Tune
4" Lift with 35s

I know the stangs run mid 14s stock. Am i quick enough to keep it in a littl less than a quartet with boosted launch?

You should be in the mid 13's with the studded tunes and with a good boosted launch you should have him

Or if you wanna spend another $50... Get the Super Panty Dropper tune from TSD because I heard it is the most balls out powerful tune being written right now.

That should help you out some als

Whatever the results, post up the answer cuz this sounds very interesting

The best your bro will do int he stang is low 14s if he can drive. The SCT does not have the same affect on NA gas motors as it does on ours. If you air your tires down to around 30 psi, and get a solid boosted launch you should be in the low 14s as well. I think this will be close. The shorter the race, the better you will do. There is no way he can launch as hard as you can.

Well we lined them up last weekend. The stroker held its own. Smoked him off the line and he never could catch me. It was probably just about 3/16th mile. Just thought I'd update everyone and also let you know he's made phone calls all week trying to get some custom tunes and pulleys cuz him and dad can't believe they can't out run an 8000lb 4x4 truck.
