Trap questions....
I guess this is the best place for this....
Recently received some new custom tunes from PHP and decided that since my Gryphon has a 1/4mi feature I would see about how she would run on the 140hp Extreme tune. The Gryphon showed that my trap in the 1/4 was about 96mph but my time was a 15.9 due to no traction from 1st and about half way through 3rd gear. So I know if I can get the tires to stick, there is quite a bit left in her. Anyways, I was wondering what I should have ran with the trap speed of 96mph. Truck is a 2003 6.0 cc sb 2x4 with about 1000# in the back. Haven't ever had a chance to run her across the scales but I figure she weighs about 7500# as she sits right now. TIA! |

Yeah, that was what I came up with as well. I was mainly wondering what my ET should have been with a trap of 96mph. I'm thinking mid-low 14's as I have seen other people report a 13.1 with a trap of 102mph.

I ran a 14.2@96.xx with my truck once.

That sounds a lot more reasonable if I could actually get traction down low. Thanks for validating my thoughts!
