05 6.0 vs. srt8 jeep

So one of my friends tells me this kid from his school just had mommy and daddy buy him an srt8 jeep and he wants to race me. At first i was thinking gravy... but after looking them up im not so sure anymore. 420HP and 420 Ft lbs. I've got SCT, 58V FICM, intake, Exhaust, egr delete and banjo bolts.

What do yo think?

I'd love it if you could stomp him. The kids that mommy and daddy buy everything for make me mad. But I'm pretty sure those SRT8s were mid 13 1/4mile machines right off the floor. I'm thinking he would take you... Sorry.

With your 37s and manual trans that SRT 8 will literally destroy you.

Ive ran one with my rig and beat it on the way back from SSS 10.

You'll lose, those things are pretty mean. I ran one from a 45 roll with my x-race. I hung for a little bit but then he started pulling on me. Had fun though.




EDIT: I take that back. I had my Banks 6 Gun running on the SL setting.

I figured he would, reading about them they seemed mean off the showroom floor. I just didn't know how much they weighed and if that weight would slow him down enough for me to hang with him or not.

Yeah those things are BADA$$! If it is completely stock and he has no clue what the hell he is doing it probably runs a high 13 to low 14. If that is the case it should be a pretty good race. I would love to see the outcome of this!
