6.0 vs 6.7 Cummins

So my buddy just bought an 08 cummins 3500 DRW. It seems pretty quick for stock, and he is getting ready to order an H&S with 5" exhaust. I've heard the 6.7's are slower than the 5.9's, and i've taken down many modded 5.9s. Neither of us really care who's faster, i'm just curious. And since he doesn't have the H&S black Maxx yet, I'm just wondering what everyone thinks after he gets it?

My truck is an 07 6.0L, XL Extended Cab Short bed with 33's on stock 17's tuned by Eric. I've got Xtreme Street and an Xtreme Race Studded file.
his is an 08 6.7L 4 door Long bed DRW with oem wheels/tires.

thanks,

Would it not take some serious money to make a 6.7 cummins a 10 second truck? Guy i ran into today tried to make the claim his was when I said we should race. 4x4, mega cab.......I know its tuned and straight piped, but other than that I dont know.

Yes, it takes a whole pile of cash to make any diesel a 10 second truck. Just a tune and exhaust definitely would not even get him close. Especially a megacab, that's a big heavy bugger to take down the strip.
