6.0 vs. 98' Mercury Sedan and 97' Chevy C1500

Do you think I could beat them? by the time I race them I'll be running an EGR delete and head studs, and maybe 33" ATZ's on 18s and a leveling kit. WHo would win? The Mercury's got a Ford V8 in it , and the Chevy also has a V8 with exhaust and 33" m/ts.

Not for now! By June I'll probably be running an SCT. I'm playing it safe, and I'm gonna install supporting mods first (Studs, EGR Delete, Exhaust, Gauges)

It will be close but if you get an SCT then they won't see anything but smoke and taillights.

Just make sure to roll into the throttle easy, then once you've got a little boost, romp it!

Stupid programming on stock trucks will cause it to de-fuel if you nail it out of the hole. Cuts fuel way back until turbo spins a little so you don't get black smoke. So if you nail it right off the bat, you just sit there like a dummy for a couple seconds while everyone else takes off in their gasser V8's.

Ha what about a boosted launch? Even with stock programming, this joker sure can launch in 4x4! I can't wait to get an SCT, i can only imagine it'll knock me when I do my first launch with it!
