My 6.0 vs modded 7.3

A friend of mine at work has a reg cab long bed 7.3 (01 i think) with injectors (stg 1 i believe) some type of tuner he is going to stack with an Edge with Attitude and he plans on upgrading the turbo but for now he has the stock turbo. My mods are in my sig. What do you think will happen?

That is what I thought about the stacking. That is a Cummins thing....
Yes, I have Custom tunes Cales 140 and Eric's X-Street. I figured I should be able to handle him no problem. We will see!

Get a good launch and you shouldn't have a problem staying in front of him the entire time. Let us know what happens, and get a video of the race!

With those generic tunes, I have no idea. If he had decent tuning combined w/ those stage 1's I'm sure he'd walk you.

Ain't no way! I had a Y2K 7.3 with stage II's and only made 353HP. The 6.0 with custum tunes will hand the 7.3 his hind end!

Interesting. What else did you have done?

Some guy posted in the 7.3 GD area his TW tunes, intake and exhaust automatic 2000 making 323hp and 711lbs of torque alone. Stage ones are worth like 60hp from what I've gathered.

Stage II's are overkill w/ the stock turbo and will run like **** compared to stage I's on a stock turbo from what I've seen.

I had the van turbo, chip was done by Matt Miller and then I had Tony Wildman burn me one and it didn't change much. I think I went down in HP and picked up about 20ftlbs of torque. Either way a properly tuned 6.0 will eat a 7.3 with stage I or II's.
