My :

1st you said: Better kit, fewer plastic parts (FALSE)

2nd I said: Looks out-dated, not was out-dated

3rd you said: You must run Snow's mixture (FALSE; as of 1-1-08)(Snow Performance: News) Check your facts!

4th you said: What about the great gains by CM, Power gains are relative to the amount of original power. During WWII aircraft were seeing over 450 hp gains on a 50/50 mix.

Dude I'm not bashing your brand your bashing mine. If you like it great, I don't like the look of your controller. Both kits look very, very close. The pumps are very simple water pumps. Whenever "I" have seen on TV or in a mag. a article about it, it always refers to Snow as the leader in this industry. I am completely satisfied with mine and hope you are the same with yours. This thread was started to thank Snow for sponsering this site and you jumped on here bashing the product. WTF gives. Start another thread to have everyone with opinions on the two chime in, I promise you'll probably be in the minority here on this topic.

I'm off now sorry...

I have a quick question. And I will start off by saying that I am not trying to bash the product in any way, so here it goes:

I have heard rumors (and they may just be rumors) that running the 50/50 mix of water/meth is bad for the pistons/seals when used over time and that you should just run straight water injection.

I have no idea about any of this stuff so if this is a really stupid question I am sorry.

Old post- but I'll chime in and say I'm a big fan of my Snow stage 3 kit! I just installed the 7 gallon tank a little bit ago and love the added capacity I can run now! Good stuff coming from there!
snow performance :nate:

and Pain- I've run a hair over 50/50, and I mean like 51/49 about. Haven't seen any problems, but from what I've heard as well, I wouldn't go higher. With this kit I've gained over a half second on the track and EGTs are always good when running the kit, never been over 1400 at WOT after a boosted launch and full run! Can't beat that!

Thanks Nate for the info. I have just heard horror stories from people that know somebody that knew someone who melted a piston or something after running the Stage 3 kit.

Glad you have had good experiences with it.

that's because some guys can't get enough and keep pushing and pushing... it's just as nasty as nitrous. So everything in moderation!
It does say clearly in the instructions (with Snow atleast) that you shouldn't run any more than a 50/50 mix in a bunch of places... so anyone doing more was advised numerous times.
