Talking Who wants 500,000?

Only catch is you have to be the first to PROVE global warming is actually happening.

You didn't read rule #9: No entries will be accepted after December 1, 2008.

And according to rule #10: The results of the UGWC will be announced on February 1, 2009. The results were announced 2 months ago.

And I thought I was going to win

No Winner in Ultimate Global Warming Challenge

Junkscience.com announces that there is no winner in the Ultimate Global Warming Challenge. None of the five entries demonstrates to the satisfaction of JunkScience.com that either, let alone both, of the contest hypotheses can be rejected according to the rules of the contest. JunkScience.com is considering the possibility of extending the contest in hopes that someone can prove scientifically that manmade global warming is real and the disaster that it is purported to be. Stay tuned!

Whatever became of acid rain (the scare of the 80's). I haven't heard the term in over 10 years. Not sexy enough, I guess...

Funny you brought that up. the way i found this while i was researching global warming and apparently acid rain helps with global warming. it takes the chemicals to the ground and so they dont hurt the ozone layer.
