DIY Pinch Weld Covers

(2) 1-1/2" x 1/8" x 96" aluminum flat stock from Home Depot @ $21.89
(8) 10/24 Button Head Allen bolts (had)
(8) 10/24 Nylon insert lock nuts (had)
(8) #10 washers (had)
(1) Semi Gloss Back rattle can @ $4.95

Total length 89-3/8"








As compared to deaknbuilt.com for $149 and up.

I'm painting them now. I'll post more pictures tomorrow and try to get the truck into the sunlight.

Hmm does look good. Probably really improve a 4x4 since it sits higher and the weld is more visible.

Do you think they will warp or break since they are one piece and the cab and bed don't always flex together ? just a thought, hope not... looks good
