ummm... I don't know why ya'll call BS... The Touareg is squating... Its a V10 Diesel air bag suspension all wheel drive all the time... They usually sits higher than that... And if you have ever driven a V10 they are pretty torquie.... I mean if you hook up this Toruareg they don't stand a chance against our trucks... but I don't see why you would call bs on this???

I called b s before I saw the video and I was refering to the title. Out pulled by a V W. Once I saw it I saw how it could be done. (cant watch vids while the boss is around) I was more pissed at the stupid remarks at the bottom of the youtube video.

Hell my 55 pound dog can move my other truck when its in neutral but thats not towing.

Maybe diesel power should put a Toureg in their shoot out next year. Then, if it wins, you can tell me it can out tow me.

To me towing is like TwinTurboStroker said, hook it up to a horse trailer. Getting a big load going slowly, nice PR but nothing else. Hook my 10k boat to its bumper and then do 60 with gusty side winds, then we talk. I also doubt the tranny of that would hold up to heavy towing use.

But on the other hand, that is not what it is built for. It is a grocery getter for people with a lot of money that want something different. Heck, you could get 2 brand new F350 duallies for one of those. Our trucks were built to haul several years worth of groceries a once down the back road and do it again tomorrow and the day after.

It's not that crazy at all.....Plus the V10 TDI is an awesome motor....VW isn't marketing against our trucks, the article did that.


You guys are so quick to attack without even understanding. The V10 TDI is an AWESOME vehicle, beats the hell out of any new domestic SUV 10x's over.
