Yeah, our flight chief may not have been too happy, but he's in the desert. For the most part, we cover for each other, no matter what. Those lights are cheap 5in rubber housings that you see on the back of most semi-truck cabs. I popped the lenses out, changed the electrical end connectors, and replaced them with sealed beam air-craft landing lights. I think they were Halogen brand. I got about the same in all 6 lights as you would pay for 1 set of KC daylighters, and I would put them up against the KCs set for set. Plus, the 5 inch light keeps a lower profile than those big 6 inchers. I had to fab the light bar for that grille guard, so it was nice to keep the lights a little smaller. All I know is that those things will flat scream at ya, and if one gets broken, or quits, a new bulb is about 15 frog pelts. I put them together at a heavy truck equipment warehouse in Fort Smith. |

Howdy fellers! I am as well from Arkansas. Magnolia, southwest corner. About 2 1/2 hours south of the Air Force Base. I am also in the Air Force, but stationed in Mississippi Air National Guard in Jackson, MS. I'm getting ready to go on my first camping trip with my new '02 PSD. I'm currently in Jackson right now and will be heading to Dumas this coming weekend and spend a week visiting with my daughter and grandbaby. I've been pulling this camper with an '02 F-150 SuperCrew with the 5.4L, can't wait to hook up the PSD to it!!! I would like to meet up with you guys as well and learn all kinds of new things to do my new truck. Already installed the Superchips Programmer and just today replaced the sport mirrors with the telescoping mirrors. Sorry so long, Bobby |

Welcome
Good to hear from you. I hope no one was effected by the tornado that hit Dumas. The Arky's are getting a fair size group on here. Also don't worry about the long post, you can't tell too much in a few words. Welcome
Jim |
