Well, I made here in one piece. I am in lodging right now, trying to buy a home, so the only internet access I have right now is the library. Look for me to make some more noise once I get settled in. I think I'm gonna buy a house that isn't finished yet, so it may take a while before I get set up. I have a friend of mine that is pushing me to enter the diesel class drags at Centerville in June. Anyone else gonna go?

Welcome

Just got back today. This is my first chance to say welcome "nbaker" and glad your trip was uneventful "eodguy" I don't race my truck but I really enjoy watching. Let me know if you run at Centerville, I might be able to get up there. It's' good to see Arkansas making a showing on this site. Tell all your diesel buddys out at the base about this site. I'll bet there's a bunch of them.

Jim

No but they do get alot of looks. I proudly display my Razorback Pride! I want to know more about the drags in Centerville. We used to run a dirt car up there "back in the day". I had heard that they had a new circle track but did not hear anything about a strip. Is it 1/8 or 1/4? The 1/8 gives me fits cuz of the 1 wheel wonder but on 1/4 I got something for them!!!! I hope the Hogs make a good showing in the dance!

Haha, I rolled into my new shop and saw 3 gasser Dodges sittin in the lot...So, I walk in, and I get "Oh, a Ford guy?" and I said "Yep, and I'll take on any one of those Dodges RIGHT NOW!" The only one that would even come close is the one that has a Hemi, and even he was scared of the diesel. With my confidence, I didn't have any takers, but I heard the whispers of "I wonder what he's done to it?" Also, I am the only one that owns a Ford product, so I have that to deal with. I have also recently thrown down the challenge to the SS Silverado that I didn't know one of the guys had, so I'm sure there is a kill story in my future somewhere.

As far as Centerville goes, it is an 1/8th mile track. I think entry fees are like $15. I'm really gonna try to go if I can. I gotta do my research on here and find out how most people are doing their runs. I haven't really played with that HyperPAC I just installed, but I know it will take 4 high to get the power down. It doesn't make the most power of the tuners, but it is a safe tuner, and I like all the data I can choose to watch without wiring up 10 gauges. On Stage 3, it's pretty awesome, and I still have a Fluidampr to install. If anyone is thinkin about a tuner, and doesn't want to go crazy, and risk toasting their engine, I recommend the HyperPAC.
