Thinking about moving, input please?

Hey guys I'm kicking around the idea of moving out that way and want to be close to lake havasu but closest location for transfer with in company is henderson las vegas nv. Just looking for some input on the area and what I could expect. What about having my truck will I have issues or no?

Lake Mead is pretty close to Henderson/LV... I've never been a fan of Havasu. I'm not sure about lift height, but you will have to deal with emissions.

About the same as California. You have a physical inspection under the hood (EGR in tact) and under the truck (catalytic converter). They match VIN numbers on the dash, to the door, to the paperwork. They put the sniffer in your tail pipe and you do 3 "snap" tests. That's where you stomp down on it from an idle up to the rev limit. It measures the amount of soot (opacity) in the air during the snap test. If all are within spec, you pay your $45 and are good for another year.

Just a heeads up Lake Havasu does NOT have emissions. Every race car i have owned has been straight pipe and my 250 is getting stacks.

If you have any questions let me know I live in havasu
