Its very pretty and nice if you like the lake. It is a smaller city. Also alot of kids from high schools/colleges head out there for spring break so it gets pretty hectic in march

Hotter than Phoenix AZ work can Be hard to find

Quiet, overall clean, real estate prices coming down a bit and what ZMANN said.
Area depends heavily on CA tourist $$. Unless you got a boat or quad, not much else to do.
