Good diesel shops in AK

I live in eagle river and was wondering if anyone knew of any shops that do diesel work. More specifically ARP head studs and EGR delete. Any input on Different Strokes of Alaska?

Powerstroke of Alaska. I think that's the name. I was stationed at Elmendor there in Anchorage. He is a PSD only shop, done some work on a buddy's truck and he reconmends him. I've been gone from Alaska for 2 years so I don't know if he's still there or not.

That's All I know of, I'm not sure what kind of work either place does. Let us know what you find and what kind of experience you have with them.

Powerstrokes of AK is called Different Strokes of AK now, I think ford had an issue with them using the Powerstroke name....

When i talked to NDP he said they dont tear into 6.0s, or at least they hadnt yet. He is a 7.3L guy.

Can you order tuners from either shop as well as Delete pipes?

NDP does 7.3 tuning (I think)

He should be able to order just about anything you need though.

In my experiance it's cheaper and easier to just order online though (there's a bunch of good vendors that sponser the ORG) Call the shops or contact them on the ORG and a lot of them will "work" with you on the shipping fees, they get CRAZY up to AK.
