I''ve been there years ago, the parking lot wasn't that big but you could probably get 10-15 of us together maybe. The number for the place is 205-661 6986 and is open 8-5 on Sat. The web address is www.walkerdynotune.com. This is all off of an old card I got from then (2004). I was there when a tuner from Mobile was tuning Lightnings and Mustangs on his dyno. This place is on the northeast side of Birmingham I believe. I also remember a sub sandwich place close by [walking distance] that pretty good. It's a little bit of a drive but I hadn't got anything else going on that couldn't wait, no worse than Montgomery.

That's the biggest problem, Montgomery is probably the most central for the state and still have any kind of performance deal. I'm pretty sure the local dragstrip is out of the question on a Sat. and I don't know of a dyno place down there. Mobile has or had RWTD but I haven't talk to the owner in years. Personally, I could get by with a decent parking lot to hang out and talk in with a good restraunt close by. I think to get this off the ground we may have to take a easier way out to get everyone there. Your only hope will probably be a dyno, as all of the tracks are probably booked for Saturdays.

If we could figure out who all is going to join our chapter and where they live maybe I could make a map showing the location of all of the members so we could try and pick the most central spot for everyone? Be kinda nice to know where everyone is located. Maybe it would be best for the first meeting to take place in an open area near a decent restaurant. We will probably have plenty to do just getting to know each other and looking over each others trucks. Maybe the fancy stuff like dynos or drag races can wait for later. I’d even be happy with an old fashion cookout at a park or someone’s house. |

ThunderJam.com I'm planning on going if anyone else wants to meet up there. I checked out the cummins forum and abuncha of them is suppose to be meeting up. Suppose to be about 8 different diesels racing. Heard about a place that lets you try a bullydog program out for afew days then it expires so I may be tuned for the weekend.

So where do we want to meet? I am feeling a parking lot or a park for our first meet.
