Well there's a drag strip called Holiday Beach Raceway above Tuscaloosa [maybe 20 miles]. There's a place [assuming it's still there, been years] called Walker's Dyno above Birmingham, But the area there is kinda tight on room for parking more than 10 vehicles. I also believe there's a dyno place in Tuscaloosa, but I don't know the name of it. The thing is they race every Sat. night at the dragstrip and some people take thier trucks and trailers up on Sat. morning.

Mobile Dragway does a truck bracket race one Friday night per month. Check it out here. MOBILE DRAGWAY

Look like most members are in northern Bama. It would be hard for me to make it to t-town.

How about Montgomery, there's a dragstrip there, don't know the name, I think they recorded an episode of Pinks there.

I'm betting not many people could make a Friday night, you can run Holiday a few years ago on Thursdays all you wanted for $10-15. I think were going to have to find a dyno day or just have simple get together at a decent eating place with a good parking lot on a Saturday. I'd love to do this at a dragstrip but the season has already started and I'm betting they have the days events locked down.

Hey Goose, you ever here of Walker dyno tune? I've been trying to find a place where we could have a dyno day and I found something about them and they are very close to you, I think.

Looks like Bham is a good central area for everyone to meet, I’d be happy with us meeting in a parking lot somewhere but if we could setup a few dyno runs at a decent price then that would be nice too. I could set it all up around my house but I don’t figure folks would want to drive this far North.
