Yea. Quick question there is a black sticky fluid inside the intake side of the turbocharger but dosent really have a smell. What might that be?

Cleaning a 6.0 turbo

That was a good thread on turbo cleaning also, slightly more in depth than DTS's...

Thats what i was thinking but its firm and sticky now. like i can scrape it up with my finger nails.

Could still be an oil residue that is started to cook on. Majority of the intake/ intercooler systems on this engine will all have residue so its not really out of the norm.

ok. The last link you posted is to a write up a guy that is local to me did. Ive contacted him to see if he would be willing to help me out with this. Be great if it fixed all my problems.
