Started this thread when I had the truck regeared.... since then, the setup loosened with the "correct" kit which has since been updated for 08's after months after my installation. A fix was attempted, and now it's in the shop for a 3rd time with a blown ring gear. We're finally getting the correct kit and a new ring and pinion. This time, it should set up properly since the manufacturers seem to have the correct info on the new 08-up axles. Read more here:
