High pitched whine, any ideas?

Not sure where this is going to end up but after searching I did not find much like what I am experiencing. I have an 01 7.3 excursion, on occasion (with no rhyme or reason) I'll get a high pitched whine when I take off, it only happens in first gear and never happens back to back. Any ideas where to start?

Its doing something different now, it does it all the way through acceleration after first startup. then I cannot get it to do it again. here is a video, Excursion whistle - YouTube

it sounds like the turbo but if its not consistent maybe a leak that goes away when warm?

it happens warm or cold. Like I can run into a store real quick and start back up and my first acceleration I get that.

interesting, never had that, the only thing mine does when its cold is the fan clutch is on but no whistle from that. Sorry not much help,

It doesn't affect anything noticeable either right?

No not that I can tell, I am gonna have a climb around and check out the cac boots.
