High pitched whine, any ideas?

Not sure where this is going to end up but after searching I did not find much like what I am experiencing. I have an 01 7.3 excursion, on occasion (with no rhyme or reason) I'll get a high pitched whine when I take off, it only happens in first gear and never happens back to back. Any ideas where to start?

it happens warm or cold. Like I can run into a store real quick and start back up and my first acceleration I get that.
