Just picked up My excursion this weekend. Am in the midst of detailing it and getting items cleaned up from the previous owner. I am not too familiar with the history of this vehicle as I bought it from a dealer who didnt provide any documentation so I am trying to familiarize myself with it as much as possible.
2000 Excursion 7.3 Powerstroke with 73,xxx miles. Includes a 12" coil suspension lift, 22" wheels with 40" tires. Bushwacker fender flares and a customer billet grill. The lift includes long arm suspension, steering stablizers and handles amazing for this large of a lift.
Interior is in great condition, has an aftermarket headunit the Pioneer Appradio (for some reason it isnt hooked up to the 6disc player in the center console need some help with that) Door speakers are all replaced with Pioneer speakers and tweeters. In the rear there is a custom box with 4 Solobaric L7 subs powered with 2 1200 watt Kicker amps. Great presentation and clean wires, just a little too much for my taste.
Nothing has been done to the motor except for a superchips tuner.
Anything you believe I should spend some time looking into please let me know, Currently I am in need of finding out why the front passenger door does not unlock with the door panel keyless entry like the rest of the doors and where to find some super strength rear door panel gas shocks.
