On my 05 Excursion I would have to run spacers because of the off set of the rims and they would hit the front leaf springs. The good ones were like $200 each! You might wanna check with your year Excursion.

Yup. I went with Fred Goeske's 2" adapters. The Ex had OEM 18" King Ranch wheels on it ever since I bought it(almost 5 years ago). I never thought to make sure the spacers were hub centric. Sure enough, they weren't, but must have been well made b/c I've put over 100k on them, at times pulling about 10k behind it on long hauls, and never had a problem. At least now I know where the high speed vibration came from. I should do a write up when I figure out a wheel option.

I can buy OEM 20" take offs with new tires for $500-$800 all day long in my area. Only reason why I didn't do that is because of the cost of 4 adapters. I just went with a after market rims.
