New to the board and my new to me rig

found her at a dealer in dallas. Never knew how hard it would be find one of these trucks. 2001 Limited w/170,000 miles. Im still exploring the little things about it. Im thinking the lift if about 10" with 38.5/13.5r20s. Its got guages that arent currently working and what looks like a tuner/chip that was cut out. I found some cut wires under the knee bolster . So far ive found the 4" straight pipe, Pro power intake? , and the turbo says ATS on it. Puffs some out the oil fill but no smoke out the exhuast on cold starts so i guess thats good. Im hoping the trans was redone recently. shifts smooth. Has a magtec pan and im thinking 6.0 cooler.

Picture of it next to my 72 jimmy for size comparison

Im here to learn more and more about these trucks and any pointers or things to look for is always appreciated.

So what does everyone think?

Nice find... like the ol gmc too, my all time favorite body style.

I want to paint the body cladding on our Ex black like yours... already have newer style lights and plan to build a simular bumper but not so much lift... at stock hight the 5 yr old has a hard time climbing in!

Enjoy....

Nice find and welcome. I'm pretty new here also. Tons of good information here, only problem is the time and money aspect of getting everything done.
