Well, thats very low miles, and all the money for the truck. I'd do my best to get out of there for 15-16k. I just did nada on it, and clean retail is 19,7. trade in is 17,8. I always try to beat trade in at the very least when dealing with a dealer. BTW, I'm assuming it's 4wd, if not, that price is high.

BTW, if you plan on modding the truck for more power, you want the 2000, it will have forged rods, and your power limit will be your wallet, not your motor. (Like mine)

The miles are right, i'm sure you can prob get them down on the price. If you can get them down and you feel good about it i would say it's a good deal.

I have been watching prices for the last 6 months, the going rate the last couple manths is about 15-16K on a low mile X. I picked up an 03 eddie 2wd 7.3 with 56k for 15k & looked at several 02's 4wd's and 03's with 50-70k on them for high 15's to mid 16's.

Thats a lot IMO for a 8 year old truck...low miles no doubt...but a grip of cash....$15-17K maybe.
