steering stabilizer question

i bought my sexcursion with a dual steering stabilizer on it but not sure what shock length to use to replace it with. both shocks are leaking and blown out. i am about to install a 6 inch lift and the shocks it came with have about 15k. can i just use those?

oh... well steering stab are valved differently then normal shocks.. im sure you can try them if they are the exact same size as the stab.... what shocks are you putting on the truck with the new lift?

i bought the kit from bds suspension but the did not offer a fox shock for a steering stabilizer. at the time i didnt know the stabilizer was bad or i would have bought the shocks they sold to replace them. where do i get fox shocks for a steering stabilizer? i will just use my shocks i have for now until they come in.

so the way i read it is that if i use a shock for a steering stabilizer it would cause the truck to pull to one side because a shock is designed to rebound. but if i have a dual stabilizer i would think it would cancel itself out or am i wrong?

Just buy steering stabilizers, they are cheap.
