Ok here's my 99. Long story short...the pass door had damage and originall had the chrome cladding which I wasnt very fond of. So after getting the dented door fixed I decided to remove all the chrome cladding and Herculiner basically the entire beltline of the truck... I think the results are well worth it. Note: 05 front end conversion with 99-03 clear headlamps. Looks good to me since I have HID's and don't feel like changing the headlamps out and buying new HID's all over again.

Feedback is of course appreciated. And believe me...it took some guts to do this, cause its PERMANENT.

i have a fj 40 that is painted with line-x it was done in 2000 so i don't know if it has changed but it does fade. however they do or did have a uv stabilizer that they can spray on to stop it. i guess it matters what brand you use. i do like the line-x though. i have black in my truck and have not had any problems.

Nice job, looks good!.

Yeah it is permanent...lol....but I think it took more guts when I did Cut-outs,....the truck was only 6 days old...

Yeah,...my truck was only a couple months old(still had new car smell),...when I handed my 6 year old some 120 grit sandpaper, and said..."Go for it"....lol
